McNeese State's women's tennis team will look for its first victory of the season Saturday as the Cowgirls travel to Baton Rouge to face Southern in a 1:30 p.m. match.

The Cowgirls enter the match winless on the season at 0-2 after falling 7-0 to Louisiana-Lafayette Monday in its home opener.

Inga Efimenko and Meri Alamo have the only two victories of the season for the Cowgirls with a 1-1 record apiece. Both players picked up their victories in the season opener at Louisiana-Monroe.
