With the No. 1 ranked Memphis Tigers men's basketball team playing five of their next six games at home, UM students should make plans in advance to see their squad in action. Below is information regarding several key contests as they pertain to UM students.
* Students will be admitted to the February 23 game with the University of Tennessee in the same way as all other games, first-come first-served at FedExForum with a valid student ID. If the student section reaches capacity, no additional students can be admitted. See information below about student guest tickets for this and all other remaining games.
* The doors at FedExForum normally open one hour before game time. For games with Gonzaga (1/26) and the University of Tennessee (2/23), the doors will open one and a half hours before game time. For Saturday's game with Gonzaga, doors will open at 9:30 a.m.
* All student guest tickets for Saturday's game with Gonzaga are SOLD OUT. There will be NO guest tickets available at FedExForum the day of the game.
* Full-time students (six hours or more for this purpose) with a valid ID will be admitted free of charge at each game. You must have your ID with you, or you will not be admitted. Your ID must be valid for the spring semester.
* Part-time students (five hours or less for this purpose) may purchase a $7 ticket for themselves at the Bursar's Office during regular office hours, while supplies last.
* Students may purchase one guest ticket for each game at the Bursar's Office for $10, while supplies last. Only a limited number of guest tickets (350) will be available for each game. Tickets for the following games will be on sale beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2008:
* Normal hours for the Bursar's Office are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including Monday, January 28, 20082/2 vs UTEP 2/6 vs SMU 2/9 vs UCF 2/13 vs Houston 2/23 vs Tennessee (ESPN Gameday) 2/27 vs Tulsa 3/8 vs UAB
* Holders of guest tickets will be seated in the upper level student section only. This, and the limited number of guest tickets available for purchase, is to ensure that students have the best opportunity possible to sit in the lower level student section.
