Stan's Birthday Party Photo Gallery

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - University of Memphis fans are invited to join the Tiger Baseball Bullpen Club in conjunction with the Baseball program in celebrating Stan Bronson Jr.'s 80th birthday on Fri., July 18 at 4 p.m. at the Billy J. Murphy Complex Lobby.

"Obviously it is our privilege to honor Stan as he has been a fixture for Tiger Athletics for over 50 years," said baseball Head Coach Daron Schoenrock. "The lives he has touched and the work he does on a daily basis is certainly appreciated by everyone in the program."

Bronson, Jr., who will turn 80 on July 19, came to the University of Memphis (then Memphis State University) in the 1958 season and has served as the baseball program's batboy since. He was most recently honored by the Guinness World Records as the "MOST DURABLE BATBOY" baseball history in 2007.
