Robbie Greenwell tied for fifth at the River Landing Intercollegiate

Wallace, N.C. - The University of Memphis men's golf team shot a six-under-par 282 in the final round of the River Landing Intercollegiate to propel itself into a third place finish. The Tigers posted a 54-hole total of 864 to finish at even-par for the tournament.

Four Tiger shot under-par rounds on the final day. Seniors Kyle Ritchie and Robbie Greenwell each fired a two-under par 70 and junior Brad Benjamin and senior Ian Rochester each shot a 71. Greenwell finished in fifth place in the tournament, shooting a one-under par 215. Benjamin and Rochester each finished at even-par for the tournament to tie for 11th. Sophomore Brandon Bunn shot a four-over 220 and Ritchie shot a 226.

Duke won the tournament, firing a 13-under-par total of 851. Tournament host North Carolina State was the runner up carding an eight-under 260. Among the teams finishing behind the Tigers was 22nd ranked Wake Forest, which finished fourth and 7th ranked Florida Sate which finished fifth. Webb Simpson of Wake Forest and Michael Schachner shared individual honors each finishing the tournament at seven-under-par. Schachner broke the tie with a birdie on the lone play-off hole.

The Tigers will return to action April 20-22 when they compete in the C-USA Championships in Texarkana, Ark.
