HOUSTON, Texas - The University of Memphis men's golf team remains in second place after two rounds of the Rice Intercollegiate. As a team, the Tigers total through two rounds is 584, placing them three strokes behind overall leader Baylor.

In individual play, Memphis junior Brad Benjamin co-leads the tournament through 36 holes with Wesley Williams of Baylor. Benjamin's second round 75 gives a score of 144 with 18 holes remaining. Freshman Stefan Erdedi 36-hole total of 146 places him just two shots behind the leaders. Seniors Robbie Greenwell and Ian Rochester are tied for 11th, each posting a score of 147. Rochester's 70 paced the Tigers in round two. Senior Kyle Ritchie's 157 rounds out the Tiger individual performances.

Memphis will conclude play at the Rice Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
