Former Tiger Dayton O'Brien now plays professionally for the Minnesota Thunder.

MEMPHIS - Former Tiger soccer star Dayton O'Brien and his professional team the Minnesota Thunder will be playing the Atlanta Silverbacks tonight at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on the Fox Soccer Channel. The two squads are members of the United Soccer Leagues.

O'Brien has played in all four games Minnesota has played this season. O'Brien played for the Tigers from 2002-2005 and was part of the 2004 conference championship team. O'Brien holds school records for career assists (34) and single season assists (14). He is one three players in school history to have at least 20 career goals and 20 career assists.

Men's Soccer head coach Richie Grant also played professionally for Minnesota.
