KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Members of the University of Memphis men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Sea Ray Relays this afternoon. Senior Susan King led the way as she won the women's discus and recorded a new school record with a mark of 162-03 (49.46).

King's distance was also an NCAA regional qualifying mark. She broke her previous school record mark by over two feet.

Due to bad weather the rest of the meet had to be postponed until tomorrow. Only three field events had been completed and there were nine running events still to be concluded.
