MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis track and field teams will be competing at the Broadway Prescription Invitational. A select few will travel to Southeast Missouri State to compete in the last chance meet. The meet will begin tomorrow afternoon.

The meet is primarily a field event meet, with a few running events taking place.

Last year at this meet the women performed very well. They recorded five out of nine, first place finishes, winning the weight throw, high jump, long jump, shot put and 55-meter dash.

The men recorded four wins including the weight throw, high jump, shot put and triple jump. Steffen Nerdal and Glen Edwards had amazing marks as they won their respective events.

This will be the Tigers last chance to compete before traveling to Houston, Texas next weekend for the Conference USA Indoor Championships.
