Freshman jumper Aaron Whetstone of Carlisle, Pa., is on a roll as he earned his second Conference USA Male Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week accolade this week. With a leap of 7.20 meters (23-07.5), Whetstone captured top honors in the long jump at the McDonald's Invitational in Carbondale, Ill., last Saturday. The freshman also placed second in the triple jump with a mark of 14.52 meters (47-07.75), while scoring a total of 18 points in the Tigers second-place victory.
