PINEHURST, N.C. - The University of Memphis women's golf team concluded play at the Pinehurst Challenge on Tuesday, finishing in a tie for 18th place. The Lady Tigers final round team score of 303 was by far the squad's best round of the tournament.

Rachel Larson continued to climb up the leader board on day three, shooting an even-par 72 to land in a tie for 16th. The junior shot a 230 (83-75-72) for the tournament. Larson has two top-20 finishes in her last two events.

Freshman Alexa Porter shot a 237 (77-84-76) to finish tied for 43rd and senior Dawn-Marie Conaty fired a 242 (83-83-76) to tie for 66th. Sophomore Leslie Grabeman carded a 253 (87-87-79).

East Carolina won the team championship with a team score of 295 and Steffi Kirchmayr of tournament host College of Charleston took the individual championship with a score of 217.

The Lady Tigers will return to action March 17, when they begin play at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii.
