• Maddie McKinley knocked in her third RBI of the season with a single up the middle in the second inning. Kailey Kassner scored on the play and now has 11 runs on the year.

• Tori Gross scored her 13th run of the year in the second inning on an infield fielding error.

• Tori Gross extended her hitting streak to a season high six games with a single in the fourth inning. She is the fourth Memphis player this year to reach a hitting streak of six games or more.

• Maddie McKinley had her second career multi-hit game with two singles in a 2-for-3 performance with a run scored and an RBI.

• Leila Dolfo extended her hitting streak to four games with a two run single to left field. Dolfo leads the team with 30 RBI. The hit scored Tori Gross' 14th run and Maddie McKinley's third.

• Tori Gross had her third multi-run game with two.

• Leila Dolfo had her team-leading seventh multi-RBI game with two.

• Leigh Rowan hit her third double of the season to centerfield in the fifth inning.

• Janelle Valle earned her second-straight win and now has nine on the year. The freshman pitched seven innings for the first time since March 1 against North Texas and scattered four hits with three strikeouts. It is her third shutout of the season.

• The shutout is the seventh of the year for Memphis.

• Memphis is now 17-4 when scoring the first run, 16-1 when leading after five innings and 19-4 when out-hitting the opponent.

• Windy Thees is now one win shy of 250 career victories.
