Playing with a broken finger against Shippensburg, Horeth scored three times in the first 22 minutes and finished with four goals, two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Team of the Week
Men's Lacrosse

The Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team dominated East Coast Conference opponent C.W. Post, the No. 4 ranked team in the country, defeating the Pioneers 8-1 Saturday. C.W. Post scored early in the contest to take a 1-0 lead, but it was all Mercyhurst after that. Goalkeeper Jason LaShomb made 17 saves and defender Matt Spahr kept the Pioneers' top offensive player, Greg Cerar, from scoring a point. The win followed a 13-5 victory over Seton Hill earlier in the week in which Mike Thon had a season-high four goals and added two assists. The Lakers have now won eight consecutive games at Tullio Field and are 42-4 at home over the past eight seasons.
