Male Athlete of the Week
Dan Bertolini, Baseball
Dan Bertolini went 10-for-21 (.476 batting average) on the week, scoring five runs and driving in two more. In a two-game sweep over rival Gannon at Jerry Uht Ballpark, Bertolini went 6-for-8. In the 4-0 game two victory, he was 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles. He scored the Lakers' first run and drove in the second in the victory.

Female Athlete of the Week
Carrina Crow, Softball
Carrina Crow guided the Lakers into the GLIAC Tournament by going 2-1 on the mound this week with a 0.35 ERA. She pitched complete games in all three of her starts and allowed just one earned run in 20 innings, striking out 16 batters. In Mercyhurst's 1-0 victory over Saginaw Valley State to clinch a GLIAC playoff bid, she allowed six hits over seven innings and let the Lakers' only run of the game stand up.

Team of the Week
Men's Golf
The Mercyhurst men's golf team won the Division II Championship at the Penn State Behrend Invitational this week and then followed it up with a 291 to defeat Gannon by five strokes Sunday in the Mercyhurst Invitational. Tyler Bidwell took medalist honors in each event, shooting a 72 in the Penn State Behrend Invitational. The Lakers beat Gannon by six strokes, Slippery Rock by seven and Edinboro by 42. In the Mercyhurst Invitational, Bidwell shot a 69 as the Lakers rolled to a victory.
