Wilkes-Barre, Pa. - Two goals, three shots, plus-two, 3-0 win. Those were the numbers tonight for former Mercyhurst player Ben Cottreau as he helped his new team, the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League, to a 3-0 win at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. It was Cottreau's professional debut.

After Albany took a 1-0 lead after twenty minutes, Cottreau scored both his goals within a 2:05 span early in the second period. For his efforts, he was named the game's second star.

The contest was the first of seven straight road games for the River Rats. Albany will visit Worcester (Mass.) tomorrow night. The River Rats have nine games left in the regular season.
