Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst College water polo program, led by head coach Curtis Robinette, will host a series of instructional clinics at the Mercyhurst North East Pool on April 22, 24, 29 and May 1.

The clinics are for boys and girls ages 9-14, and will focus on the fundamentals and basics of water polo as well as skill development and fitness. The girls' session is planned for 5-6:30 p.m., while the boys' session will run from 6:30-8 p.m. The fee is $35.

Robinette became head coach of the fledgling programs in 2002 and has led the men's team to back-to-back CWPA Southern Division, Western Region titles and the 2007 Division II/III Eastern Championship. Since 2004, five Lakers have been named All-America. The women's team has also been successful, winning at least 12 games in each of the last four seasons.
