Colorado Springs, Colo. - Mercyhurst stayed No. 7 in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Women's Poll released today. The Lakers, 19-5-2 overall, have won five straight including 7-1 and 7-0 wins over visiting Quinnipiac last weekend.

Mercyhurst has eight regular season games left, all in College Hockey America, and starts the final push when it battles Wayne State February 8 and 9 at the Ice Center.

ABOUT THE POLL: The 11th annual USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the American Hockey Coaches Association and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
