Luna Leads Roadrunners At Davies Open

GOLDEN, COLO. -- Gabe Luna won the 400 meters in a time of 52.02 to lead Metro State at the Colorado School of Mines' Davies Open, Saturday afternoon at Steinhauer Fieldhouse. For the women, Jessica Jenkins finished fourth in the mile with a time of 5:40.71. In the 600 meters, Shanise Hamilton was fourth (1:49.65), while Chelsea Rutter was sixth and Therese Panian was seventh. Metro State returns to the track at Air Force and at the Husky Invitational in Seattle, Wash., Feb. 1-2. |
