Metro State Ranked No. 21 in National Poll

The Metro State baseball team earned its first national ranking since the 2000 season after a four-game sweep or previous No. 18 Mesa State last weekend. The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll ranked the Roadrunners No. 21 in their latest poll released today. The organization also ranked the 'Runners third in the west region, behind only No. 1 Sonoma State and No. 2 Cal State Stanislaus. "It is a testament to the hard work these guys have put in," Head Coach Bobby Pierce said. "We have had a different guy step up each game and it has been a complete team effort." The 'Runners (20-4, 12-0 RMAC) return to action Thursday at Regis at 3 p.m. |
