Metro State Faces Colorado School of Mines In RMAC Tournament

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - Metro State (38-17, 30-10 RMAC) is the No. 2 seed and plays No. 5-seed Colorado School of Mines (19-32, 17-22 RMAC) in the first round of the RMAC Baseball Tournament, Wednesday, May 7 at 11 a.m.

The double-elimination tournament is hosted by top-seed and RMAC regular-season champion Mesa State. The Mavericks take on No. 6-seed New Mexico Highlands at 7 p.m., while No. 3-seed Regis faces No. 4-seed Nebraska-Kearney at 2:30 p.m. If Metro State wins its opener, it takes on the winner of Regis-Nebraska-Kearney at 11 a.m., Thursday. The loser plays at 3 p.m.

The tournament, which is being played at Mesa State's Suplizio Field and Canyon View Park, runs Wednesday-Saturday with the championship being played Saturday.
