DENVER, COLO. - Metro State and head coach Linda Lappe will celebrate the "Think Pink" initiative at its women's basketball game against Nebraska-Kearney, Feb. 15.

The "Think Pink" initiative is a global, united effort sponsored by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) to raise breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses and in the community. The WBCA's "Think Pink" week is February 8-17. Over 800 schools across the country have committed to participate.

Anyone who attends the Metro State game wearing pink will be admitted free of charge, although a suggested $2 donation will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The game is at the Auraria Events Center on campus beginning at 5 p.m. Free parking is available to fans in Lot R beginning one hour before the game.
