Miami vs. Eastern Michigan

Miami outscored Eastern Michigan 15-to-6 in second chance points and doubled up the Eagles with in steals (8-to-4).

Miami tied a season-low for turnovers with seven. It was the second game in a row that Miami had seven turnovers and the third game in a row that the RedHawks have had fewer than 10 turnovers.

Junior center Tyler Dierkers amassed seven assists, while senior forward Tim Pollitz added five assists.

Senior forward Tim Pollitz amassed 22 points, marking his 18th 20-point effort of his career and his fifth this season. It was Pollitz's first 20-point game since scoring a career-high 26 points against Chicago State on Dec. 18.

Miami's 43 points in the first half were its third most in a half this season. The RedHawks scored 45 in the second half against Chicago State (Dec. 18) and 44 in the first half against Wright State (Dec. 15).

Junior guard Kenny Hayes had 14 first-half points, going 4-for-5 from 3-point range. His four treys tied a season high for 3-pointers in a game for Hayes.

Freshman forward Nick Winbush earned his first career start. After sitting out the first part of the season due to injury, Winbush has played in Miami
