OXFORD - Miami University football's special teams star Pat LaMonica (Dublin, Ohio) is one of 30 Mid-American Conference players named to the 2007 Academic All-MAC team.

LaMonica, a finance major at Miami, has compiled an impressive 3.41 cumulative GPA during his four years.

He appeared in 12 of the RedHawks' 13 games this past season and was one of the team's most spectacular special teams players. As Miami's "gunner", LaMonica accumulated 10 tackles.
