Head Coach Maria Fantanarosa:
On Miami's first tournament game:
"When we get to the tournament, I'm going to walk in the gym with them and let them experience it. I want them to sit in the seats and look around and be excited about it because it's part of the journey."
Senior Guard Amanda Jackson:
On the Tournament and waiting for the announcement
"We're just excited to play and we're still on cloud nine from this past weekend. Every time they announced the teams I kept getting nervous because I didn't know where we would pop up on the screen."
On receiving Miami's first bid to the Tournament:
"It says a lot about our program and a lot about our coaches. We've worked hard and now we have gotten some attention for the things we've done on the court."
Junior Guard Jenna Schone:
On Waiting for the Brackets:
"I had butterflies in my stomach as we were waiting to see where we were going and who we were playing. Now that it's all taken care of, we'll just get back to business."
