TAMPA, Fla. - After setting 12 Miami records this season en route to First-Team All-MAC honors and 2008 MAC Tournament MVP accolades, senior guard Amanda Jackson was a 2008 State Farm Coaches' All-America Honorable Mention selection, the WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches' Association) announced at the Women's Final Four on Friday.

Jackson averaged 21.6 points per game this season, 4.4 rebounds per game and 3.0 assists per game. The two-time First-Team All-MAC honoree became Miami's single-game, single-season and career scoring leader this season and she also became the second player in Mid-American Conference history to eclipse 1,900 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 300 steals for her career, joining Toledo's Kim Knuth.

Jackson is the second Miami player to earn All-America plaudits as Linda Mallender was a Third-Team Women's Basketball News All-American selection in 1983.
