Final Stats

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Miami University field hockey team ended their regular season with an 8-10 record overall and a 6-4 mark in the MAC after a 3-0 victory at Missouri State on Friday afternoon.

Alyssa Nye, Courtney Fretz and Teja Kammler all scored for the RedHawks, while Taylor Florence had an assist and Megan Stengel saved three shots in goal.

Fretz led off the MU scoring in the 21st minute. Her goal was quickly followed by Kammler's score off Florence's assist in the 24th minute. Nye added an insurance goal in the 45th minute. Miami outshot the hosts 18-8 and had 11 penalty corners to six for the Bears.

Miami will host the MAC Championship Tournament on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of next week, Nov. 1-3. The tournament bracket will be released following the conclusion of conference play on Sunday.

The Thursday and Friday tournament games take place at noon and 2:30 p.m. and Saturday's championship game will start at noon.
