OXFORD, Ohio - Three Miami RedHawks, senior Taylor Florence, senior Alyssa Nye, and junior Danielle Gaynor, have been named to the 2007 Mid-American Conference All-Tournament team.

Miami, the host school, advanced to the championship game in the single-elimination event, defeating Missouri State and Kent State before falling in overtime to #15 Ohio in the finals.

Nye (Bernville, Pa.) led the RedHawks in scoring, putting in three goals. Florence (Louisville, Ky.) scored two goals and had an assist, while Gaynor (San Diego, Calif.) added two goals.

Miami outshot their opponents 52-28 in the tournament and racked up 34 penalty corners compared to 17 for their opponents.

The RedHawks ended their season with a 10-11 record overall and a 6-4 mark in the MAC regular season.
