ZAGREB, Croatia - The Miami University synchronized skating junior squad finished second in the seventh annual Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy skating competition in Zagreb, Croatia this past weekend, March 13-15.

The RedHawks totaled 124.03 points, scoring 45.22 points in the short program and 78.81 in the free skate. The Skyliners (USA) won the competition, edging Miami with a score of 130.83.

The next competition for the Miami University synchronized skating program is the World Synchronized Skating Championships on March 28-30 in Budapest, Hungary. The RedHawk senior team will take part in the competition, looking to build on their second place finish from a year ago which is the highest finish in U.S. history.
