COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Miami University RedHawks finished up competition at the Jesse Owens Track Classic in Columbus on Saturday, earning one win and hitting several impressive marks.
Kristina Bolterstein set a new season-best, clearing 5-10 ¾ and winning the high jump. Katelyn Kelly took fourth with a height of 5-5, while Kristin Mathews was sixth with an identical 5-5.
Margarita Pogorelov took sixth in the 100-meter dash at 11.78 and 16th in the 200-meters with a time of 24.87. Betsy Allen was eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 56.52.
Amanda Mirochna finished in 10th place in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:34.70.
Britney Bernardoni cleared 11-7 ¾ in the pole vault, good for eight place. Erin Frazer took seventh in the javelin with a throw of 121-1.
The RedHawks will compete at the Billy Hayes Invitational in Bloomington, Ind. on Friday, May 9th before setting their sights on the MAC Championships at Bowling Green on May 15-17.
