OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University senior high jumper Kristina Bolterstein will compete in the NCAA Indoor Championships for the second-straight year.

Bolterstein's qualifying mark of 1.81 meters (5-11 ¼) ranks her 14th going into the competition, which will take place March 14-15 at Randal Tyson Track Center on the campus of the University of Arkansas.

The Middleburg Heights, Ohio native earned All-American honors a year ago, placing 17th with a leap of 1.87 meters. She is a three-time MAC indoor high jump champion, having won this year's competition with her NCAA-qualifying mark.

A total of 568 student-athletes will participate in the championships. Each qualified by reaching automatic or provisional standards established for each event.

Bolterstein helped the RedHawks to a third place finish at the MAC Indoor Championships, with Miami taking first, second and eighth in the high jump competition.
