OXFORD, Ohio - After competing in the Duke Invitational held in Raleigh, N.C. last weekend, the Miami women's track and field team returns home to host the Miami Challenge this Friday and Saturday at the George L. Rider Track in Oxford.

The RedHawk women will face Ball State, Buffalo, Bowling Green, Butler, Cedarville, Dayton, Findlay, Hillsdale, IPFW, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, Ohio University, Rio Grande, Tiffin, Valparaiso, and Wright State this weekend. Miami is the two-time returning champion of the Challenge, having won four of the annual meets since 2000.

Kristina Bolterstein took second in the high jump, clearing a height of 5-8 ¾. Teammate Katelyn Kelly followed close behind in fourth place when she cleared 5-7, and Nicki Mitchell and Kristen Mathews finished in 13th and 16th with heights of 5-5 and 5-3, respectively.

Jennie Stoll earned fifth in the developmental 800-meters with a time of 2:20.60. With a time of 2:23.63, Madeline Schork finished 19th in the same event.

Miami's 4X400-meter relay team was fourth with a time of 3:52.01, and Jessica DeWitt finished 16th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:36.55.

After the home competition this weekend, the RedHawk women will head to Cincinnati, Ohio for the All-Ohio Championships on April 18 and 19.
