COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Big 12 Conference named the 2008 Academic All-Big 12 Track & Field Teams on Tuesday. Missouri had 26 names on the list including seniors Tyler Dailey (Joplin, Mo.) and Kasey Kimball (Eureka, Mo.) who were specially recognized for recording a 4.0 GPA in the fall 2007 semester. Nominated by each institution's director of student-athlete support services and the media relations offices, the men's track & field academic all-league squad consisted of 82 first team members combined with 21 on the second team, while the women had 109 first team recipients and 22 student-athletes on the second team.
