Visit to Include Gary Pinkel, Mike Anderson, Mike Alden and Others

April 22, 2008       Columbia, Mo. ¾ The University of Missouri Athletic Department and the Mizzou Alumni Association invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel, Head Men's Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Director of Athletics Mike Alden and other Tiger coaches and administrators when the Mizzou Caravan stops in Mendon, Mo., Tues.., April 29th.         Tiger Athletics and the Mizzou Alumni Association will sponsor a reception and "Tiger Talk" that evening at Northwestern High School, located on Highway 11 in Mendon.  Dinner will begin at 6:45 p.m., with the program starting up at 7:45 p.m.  The cost is $13 per person, and includes the best smoked pork chop dinner in the Midwest, along with door prizes.          Pinkel, the 2007 Big 12 Coach of the Year, will recap the 2008 spring football camp, which concludes April 19th with the annual Black & Gold Spring Game.  Anderson, who completed his second season as MU's coach, will discuss the future of the basketball program, while Alden and others will be on hand to talk Tiger Athletics in general.  The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, the Voice of the Tigers.         Mizzou fans can pick up Tiger football ticket information at the event.          For more information, please contact Fred Carpenter at (660) 256-3212.
