Five Tigers Sign Free Agent Contracts

Columbia, Mo. - Five former standout University of Missouri football players are reported to have signed free agent contracts shortly following the 2008 NFL Draft, which concluded Sunday in New York, N.Y. They join WR Will Franklin and TE Martin Rucker, who were both taken in the fourth round of the draft, with Franklin going to Kansas City, and Rucker going to Cleveland. Joining Rucker in Cleveland will be a pair of Tiger teammates. Running back Tony Temple and defensive back Darnell Terrell, who also worked out at wide receiver for NFL teams during pre-draft workouts, both signed free agent contracts with the Browns. Defensive lineman Lorenzo Williams signed a contract with the Baltimore Ravens Sunday, and he was joined by center Adam Spieker (Oakland) and tackle Tyler Luellen (San Diego).
