Geesman Named NEWA Wrestler of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - MIT heavyweight standout Glenn Geesman was recently named New England Wrestling Association Wrestler of the Week for his remarkable outing in a tri-match at Roger Williams University on Jan. 30. Geesman defeated both a ranked New England opponent from Bridgewater State College and a two-time All-New England grappler from Roger Williams. The latter victory was a 4-0 decision against the No. 2-ranked wrestler in the conference, while the first win saw Geesman register his 15th pin of the campaign. The Cardinal and Gray star now ranks in the top five in the country in pins in Division III. |
