TEAM NOTES

-- Head coach Tom Izzo collected his 300th career victory with today's win. Izzo is now 300-126 all-time.

-- MSU is 16-0 this season at home and now has won 20-straight in the Breslin Center. Over the last two season, the Spartans are 24-1 on their home court.

-- Michigan State has now won 13-straight home games against Iowa, dating back to the 1993-94 season. All-time MSU is 38-17 against the Hawkeyes in East Lansing and 58-52 overall.

-- The Spartans had a season-low five turnovers today. MSU is 4-0 this season when committing less than 10 turnovers.

-- In their last three home games, the Spartans have 67 assists to only 22 turnovers.

-- The Spartans out-rebounded Iowa, 33-30 and is now 21-2 this season when accomplishing that feat.

-- MSU shot 12-for-13 (92.3%) from the line, the second best percentage of the season. The Spartans shot 93.3% (14-for-15) against UCLA (11/20).

-- The MSU bench outscored the Hawkeyes' bench 20-2. In the last two games, the Spartans have held a 57-14 edge in bench scoring.

-- MSU is now 6-0 in day games.

PLAYER NOTES

-- Senior Drew Neitzel scored 12 points to break his tie with Andre Huston on the Spartans' all-time scoring list. Neitzel now sits alone in 15th with 1,405 points. Charlie Bell is next with 1,468. Neitzel also had a game-high five assists and no turnovers. In his last two games, he has dished out eight assists without a turnover.

-- Sophomore Raymar Morgan had a perfect shooting night, going 6-for-6 from the fiels and 4-for-4 from the line for a team-high 16 points. It is Morgan's second perfect game of his career, as he went 6-for-6 from the field and 6-for-6 from the line against Missouri (11/19/07). It is also the 13th time in which Morgan has lead the team in scoring, the most on the team.

-- Senior Drew Naymick had two blocks to increase his school-record total to 123. It is the 22nd-straight game with a block for Naymick, the longest streak of his career. Naymick also added a team-high eight rebounds, including a career-high six on the offensive end.
