- Air Force's 55.3 FG% at TCU is the second-best this season.
- Anwar Johnson pulled down a career-high seven rebounds at TCU.
- The Falcons have held the Frogs to 50 or less points in four of five meetings in Mountain West Conference action. The Purple and White has been held to less than 50 points five times in the last 462 games versus other opponents.
- Kevin Langford increased his Mountain West Conference lead to 18 consecutive double-digit scoring performances following an 11-point evening against the Falcons.

- At 6-1 in Mountain West Conference play, the Cougars are off to their best league start since the 2002-03 season when they also began 6-1 through the first seven games. BYU finished the 2002-03 season tied for first in the conference at 11-3.
- With the 73-63 win, BYU is now 14-1 when scoring at least 70 points and 14-1 when holding opponents under 70 points.
- For the first time this season, two Cougars recorded double-doubles. Plaisted posted his seventh double-double of the year and 16th of his career with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Tavernari tallied the first of his career with 10 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.

- UNLV's 6-1 MWC record is its best-ever start to a MWC season and its best start in league play since 1998-99 in the WAC when the Runnin' Rebels started 7-1.
- UNLV has won a season-high-tying five straight games and has won 10 of its last 11 and 13 of 15.
- UNLV has held 10 of its last 12 opponents to 65 points or less.
- UNLV holds the NCAA record for most consecutive games with a made 3-pointer. Since the 3-point field goal was adopted by the NCAA in 1986-87, UNLV has converted at least one 3-pointer in all 689 games played.

- Utah is now 97-42 all-time vs. Colorado State. Tonight's game was the 139th meeting between the Utes and Rams.
- Carlon Brown scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed a career-best seven rebounds.
- The 13 points allowed by Utah in the first half is the fewest they've allowed in a first half this season. It also matches the fewest points allowed in any half by the Utes this season (Air Force scored 13 in the second half on Jan. 5).
- CSU's five assists are a season low. This is just the second game this season without a blocked shot.
