May 7, 2008 Utah continues its battle for first place as the Utes and Lobos will square off in a doubleheader that will be televised live on the MountainWest Sports Network - The Mtn. The Thursday, May 8, contest will begin at 5 p.m. MT in Albuquerque, N.M. The doubleheader will also be replayed on CBS College Sports Network on Monday, May 12, at 1 p.m. MT. Utah (28-23, 10-6 MWC) stands in third place heading into the final weekend of regular-season competition. The Utes were originally picked to finish sixth in the MWC. New Mexico (23-24, 5-11 MWC) is currently in fifth place and is looking for its first winning season since 2001.
