College Athletic Business Management Association Announces 2008 Officers

Cleveland, Ohio – The members of the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) have selected Clayton Hamilton, Associate Athletics Director/Business Operations at the University of Colorado, to serve as President for 2008-09. The announcement was made official at the 58th Annual CABMA Convention, which was held June 6-9 in Dallas. “We have just completed an outstanding year for CABMA; highlighted by continued growth in our membership base, and a very successful Convention in Dallas,” stated Hamilton. “I want to thank Past President Darin Spease for his leadership, and members of the various support committees for their contributions to our organization. Thanks also to our associates at NACDA, along with our sponsors and partners, for your support of the Convention. This is an exciting time for CABMA, and I look forward to serving the Association as President during the 2008-09 year.” CABMA also elected Jeanette Shoecraft, Associate Athletics Director/Chief Financial Officer at the University of Cincinnati to serve as 1st Vice President; Frank Hardymon, Associate Athletics Director/Chief Financial Officer at Georgia Tech to serve as 2nd Vice President; and Ross Cobb, Associate Director of Athletics/Business Operations at the University of Texas at San Antonio as the new 3rd Vice President for the 2008-09 year. Join CABMA at its 59th Annual Convention, June 15-18, 2009 at the World Center Marriott Resort, Orlando, Florida.
