NAIA Region III Golf Championships Qualifiers Announced

  (Sioux City, Iowa - April 22, 2008) -  The 2008 NAIA Region III Women's and Men's Golf Championships are set for Monday and Tuesday, April 28 and 29, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The University of Sioux Falls will host the 36 hole meet at the Elmwood Golf Course. 

  Seven women's teams and seven men's teams along with select individuals will participate in the two day event.  Five Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and two Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC)  teams will make up the seven teams, individual qualifiers needed to place in the top-10 in their respective conference championship. 
  The NAIA Region III Champion and Medalist will advance to the NAIA National Golf Championships.  The NAIA Men's Golf Championships are May 13-16 in Plymouth, Indiana, while the NAIA Women's Golf Championships are May 20-23 in San Diego California.

Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) - Dickinson State and Jamestown
Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) - Sioux Falls, Dakota Wesleyan, Hastings, Northwestern, and Dana
DAC Individuals - Anne Langdell (Black Hills State), Katie Campbell (Black Hills State), Jessie Johnson (Jamestown), Sarah Westlake (Jamestown), and Katie Flikkema (Jamestown)
GPAC - Kristi Tighe (Morningside), Sarah Hannon (Nebraska Wesleyan), and Michaela Carew (Briar Cliff)

Men

Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) - Minot State and Dickinson State

Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) - Dakota Wesleyan, Dordt, Hastings, Midland Lutheran, and Sioux Falls

DAC Individuals - Eddy Delzer (Jamestown) and Brandon Eisenbaum (South Dakota Tech)

GPAC Individuals - Luke Vermeer (Northwestern), Chris Rager (Morningside), Ben Keane (Briar Cliff), and Garrett Rathke (Concordia)
