ALVA, Okla. - Oklahoma City University set the NAIA single-game record with 81 total bases and tied the single-game record by pounding 14 home runs in a 33-10 beating of Northwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday at Ranger Field.

Landon Camp and Brent Weaver each launched three homers, while Caleb Annesley and David Mann each nailed two home runs. The fifth-ranked Stars (31-3, 11-1 Sooner Athletic Conference) equaled the 14 homers Bellevue (Neb.) hit vs. Jamestown (N.D.) on May 21, 2004.

OCU outdistanced the previous record of 69 total bases also set by Bellevue on May 21, 2004. OCU's 31 hits ranked as the third-highest single-game total in NAIA history.

David Dennis, Brandon Moss, Garrett Regan and Kirk Walker each swatted a homer. Camp and Weaver each went 4-for-5 with four runs scored. Camp drove in eight runs, while Weaver registered seven RBIs.

Dennis was 4-for-4, scored three times and drove in two runs. Annesley went 4-for-7, scored three runs and had two RBIs, and Walker was 4-for-6 with four runs and three RBIs.

Mann was 3-for-6 with four runs scored and five RBIs, while Regan was 3-for-6 with three runs scored and three RBIs. Moss went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

The Stars started the day with a 10-run first inning. Weaver, Dennis and Annesley hit back-to-back-to-back homers, with Weaver's being a two-run blast. Regan nailed a two-run base hit, Camp cranked a three-run homer and Dennis nailed an RBI double.

In the fourth, OCU plated nine runs. Camp and Weaver hit consecutive homers, and Mann nailed a two-run homer. Weaver hit a grand slam.

Camp also hit a grand slam in the sixth. Mann nailed a three-run blast in the third.
