KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Malone College (Ohio) earned all seven first place votes for the third straight week to remain No. 1 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) men's cross country ratings. The Pioneers have extended their streak to four weeks, including pre-season ratings, as the top team in the nation with 210 total points.
The next three spots also remained the same from last week. Aquinas (Mich.) compiled 203 total points while Azusa Pacific (Calif.) earned 196 total points and Cornerstone (Mich.) received 185 total points to stay No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. Concordia (Calif.) climbed two spots from No. 7 to No. 5 with 182 points to round out the top five.
The next regular season Top 25 Poll will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
