Lee (Tenn.) Ranked No. 1 for Third Consecutive Week in NAIA Women's Soccer Poll- Rating # 6

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Lee (Tenn.) has been named No. 1 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Top 25 poll, announced this afternoon. The Lady flames hold down the top spot for the third consecutive week. Lee received eight first-place votes and a total of 343 points. The margin between the No. 1 and No. 2 is separated by only 4 points. Azusa Pacific (Calif.) is on the Lady Flame's heels and received five first-place votes and a total of 339 points to come in at No 2. Behind Azusa, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) was given one first-place vote and a total of 326 points to earn the No. 3 position.

 

Concordia (Ore.) moved up one spot from No. 5 to No. 4 while Martin Methodist (Tenn.) jumped one spot from No. 6 to round out this week's top five. 

 

The sixth regular season Top 25 poll (seventh overall) will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
