Kristy Brandolini of Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) has been selected as the NAIA Women's National Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 7.
Brandolini, a senior forward from Twinsburg, OH set school records for assists (4) and points (10) in an 8-0 shutout over Rio Grande (Ohio). She also netted three goals in the win. Brandolini also had two assists in a 3-0 win over Notre Dame (Ohio). She now ranks second in school history in career goals (65), assists (43) and points (173).

Jill Colfer-Martinson of Azusa Pacific (Cal.) was named the NAIA Women's National Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 7.
The senior goalkeeper had back-to-back shutouts of Westmont (Cal.) and California Baptist, guiding No. 2 Azusa Pacific into sole possession of first place in the Golden State Athletic Conference. Colfer-Martinson has now shut out three straight opponents, increasing her school record to forty. The Cougars now have seven straight shutouts at home with Colfer-Martinson in goal, a big reason why they now have a thirty-game home unbeaten streak.
