KANSAS CITY, Mo. - California Baptist earned all 13 first place votes to remain No. 1 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) softball ratings. The Lancers compiled 325 total points.
The next three spots in the rating also remained the same for the second straight week. Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.), Lubbock Christian (Texas) and Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) claimed their respective 2-3-4 slots with 310, 299 and 283 total points. William Carey (Miss.) climbed two spots to No. 5 with 256 total points to round out the top-five.
Saint Gregory's (Okla.) moved up nine spots into the top-10 at No. 6 with 250 total points.
Three teams made their debut in the top-25 this week. California State-San Marcos, Central Methodist (Mo.) and Warner Southern (Fla.) all appeared in the poll for the first time this year.
The fifth regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, April 16.
