COLUMBIA, Mo. - No. 3 Concordia (Calif.) defeated Lindenwood (Mo.) in three games (30-24, 30-14 and 30-19) in the fourth quarterfinal match and advanced to the semifinals for the third straight season. The Eagles will face California Baptist in the second semifinal match at noon on Saturday.
Lindsey Campbell and Ashley Robbins both reached double figures in kills for Concordia with 13 and 12 respectively. Vanessa Perry recorded a team-high 25 assists while Jenna Freidrich added 18. Chelsea Scott led the team with 13 digs. The Eagles also got contribution from Traci Weamer who chipped in nine kills and nine digs. Concordia improves to 30-5 on the season.
Krista Yoder led the way for Lindenwood with eight kills while Alyssa Showers had a team-high 13 digs. The Lady Lions will end their season with a 41-8 overall record.
