ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The conclusion of the Navy-Delaware State ballgame from April 3 in Annapolis has been scheduled for Monday, April 28, at Soldier Field in Dover, Del. The single-game contest between the two teams slated for Tuesday, April 29, has been moved up one day and will be played after the end of the suspended game.

If Navy or Delaware State's weekend conference series on April 26-27 were to be pushed back one day, the halted game would not be resumed and count as a victory for Navy. The Midshipmen held a 2-1 lead after four and a half innings before heavy rain and unplayable field conditions forced the umpires to suspend the contest.

Navy (20-11, 6-2 Patriot League) will return to action tonight, when it heads up to Baltimore for a 7 p.m. contest at UMBC.
