Twenty-Six Naval Academy Student-Athletes Graduate With Distinction

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Twenty-six student-athletes graduated with distinction Friday morning at the Naval Academy's graduation ceremonies held at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

Vicki Moore, a member of the women's cross country and track teams, was the Valedictorian of the Class of 2008, while senior Greg Veteto, a member of the football team, finished third in the class. In total, six of the top 10 members of the Class of 2008 were varsity athletes as Chris Renninger of the golf team was fifth in the class, Kristen Sproat of the sailing team was seventh, Eric Gardiner of the water polo team was ninth and Dan Decker of the men's lacrosse team was 10th.

Other student-athletes that graduated with distinction include David Parker (sailing), Kari Weniger (women's soccer), Tucker George (squash), Kraegen Bramer (track), Catherine Ortman (women's crew), Evan Barnes (men's soccer), Michael Mullee (sailing), Jason Feipel (sprint football), Trevor Miller (lightweight crew), Sarah Horn (sailing), Stefanie Peskosky (women's track), Robert Gwinn (crew), Jasen Lee (track), Anthony Krysta (sailing), Kevin Liu (squash), Scott Feeley (crew), John Kress (cross country), Ryan England (sailing), Spencer Manley (wrestling) and Sarah Roberts (women's crew).
