Charlotte, N.C. - After a dramatic comeback in the completion of game five on Thursday afternoon, the White team recorded three different three-run innings as they secured a 13-4 win to take the Niner World Series four games to two at Robert and Mariam Hayes Stadium. The Green team gave up six walks and four errors as White pounded out 10 hits in the finale, including three from Zach Semenza, who reached base in all four trips and scored three times on the evening.

Green had a 10-5 lead in the sixth inning when play resumed from Tuesday's suspended game. White drew three walks and a hit batter to score its sixth run and Ross Steedley belted a grand slam to left to tie the game at 10.

Despite a leadoff triple in the top of the tenth, Green could not bring home J.J. Elseser to retake the lead.

In the bottom of the eighth, Justin Roland singled and eventually came around to score on a wild pitch to give White a 3-2 series lead, it's first of the series.

Eight White team players had a hit and all nine reached base and either drove in a run or scored. Steedley and Corey Shaylor each drove in three runs in the series finale.

Corey Roberts got the win for White. He allowed just two hits in four innings. Dylan Taylor took the loss for Green, as he could get out of the second inning.

Green will eat hot dogs at the end of fall dinner, while White is awarded with steak dinner when the team convenes at the meal. The end of the series signifies the end of the fall practice season, as Charlotte will now spend the rest of the year in the weight room or in the gym for individual workouts.

The 2010 season begins for Charlotte with a road game at High Point on Friday, February 19 before the two teams play in Charlotte on Saturday, February 20.
