A pair of Leemire Goldwire free throws at 5:28 gave Charlotte an eight-point edge, 59-51, but Charlotte managed just five points the rest of the way. Meanwhile, the Flyers fought back.
Leading scorer Brian Roberts, who was held to just nine points, hit a three-pointer and Jimmy Binnie added a pair of free throws to cut the lead to three, 59-56, with 3:51 to play.
