Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte 49ers seniors Corey Nagy and Ryan Wilson each shot one over par 73 in the first round of the Brickyard Collegiate as Charlotte moved into 11th place after one round.

Charlotte stands at nine-over par 297, 15 strokes off the lead of Augusta State (-6, 282). Augusta State is the only team that shot under par. Chattanooga and VCU are tied for second at three-over par. The 49ers are just four shots out of fourth place.

Freshman Andy Sajevic shot three-over par and Olafur Loftsson added a four-over par opening round. Will Golden shot 11-over par.

The second round will be played Sunday with the final round slated for Monday.
